What can you get for $22?

THIS!! ($15)

And THIS ($7!)

I also got a winter coat for $5 and some other random stuff. I went with a friend of mine who put some of my stuff in with hers. At this thrift store you just "buy" a big black trashbag and fill it with stuff, she had room so she added my stuff to hers. I will certainly be checking back there for anything we need. Tim already wants me to look for a bookcase - he was very impressed with my finds. :)

What incredible finds! Go you!

Oh, and I'm glad you had fun on your trip to DC too! I went about 9-10 years ago and remember it like it was yesterday. There is something about being there with all of that history and seeing the monuments/memorials, White House, Capitol, etc... pretty exciting. Being the history buff that you are, I was surprised that you didn't make it over to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. Talk about fun! If you didn't go, then put it on your list next time you go back. I would highly recommend it and the other museums at the Smithsonian!

Wow, that's amazing! I showed Justice your deals, and he responded by saying, "Did they come with smallpox or something?" LOL.

Erin - yeah, I've been to the Museums at the Smithsonian but this time I wanted to see some of the newer stuff and I didn't have a lot of sightseeing time. But yah, the History Museum and the Nat'l Archives are awesome!!
