Just wanted to update and say that I have made it TWO days without sugar! That's no sugar whatsoever! It's been kind of difficult, but I am surviving! :) It's interesting how many things have sugar hiding in them. It's made me a lot more aware of how much sugar I eat. I had a bit of a headache the first day but other than that it hasn't been too bad. Ok, so I know 2 days isn't a lot but it's quite an accomplishment for me! So I just wanted to let y'all know. Ok, thanks, bye! :)

Have you ever read the book "potatoes not prozac"? It is all about how much people are addicted to sugar. It has some really interesting points and eye opening facts in that book!

Liz, actually I have that book and just picked it up and started reading it! So interesting! Have you read it? They also have some products including protein powder, which I have been wanting to get. Have you tried any of their stuff? It doesn't have a lot of crud in it and they said its good for pregnant and nursing women! Thoughts?
I haven't read it all the way through, cover to cover. I need to read up on the pregnancy portion then! Too hard to try and watch all that good food when I am preggo! haha But I find all that kind of stuff very interesting. My friend's wife followed the diet very closely, and a lot of her ailments have gone away. But she said the first 3-5 days was ROUGH!!
